My favourite places in Manchester (Latifa)

Manchester is a really big city, but these are my personal faves and if you have not been or tried any of these places, I would definitely recommend.

I love the artwork and taking pictures in Manchester Art Gallery; it’s perfect for people who love to learn about art and history and is easy to get to by public transport. Manchester Central Library is also not too far away, which is very resourceful and helpful especially if you want more information.

Another one of my favourite places is Chinatown, which is great for food. My favourite restaurant is called Try Thai, I love Thai food and this is one place I keeping coming back to. If you’re looking for a new place to try I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed! Also, in Chinatown you can take some really nice photos, personally I love taking pictures and you can get some really good shots.

The shopping centres in Manchester are really worth going to. The Arndale is close to campus so it is easy to have a look around and has a great amount of clothing stores and food stands. I really love the Boba tea place; they have a variety of flavours and even do waffles and other desserts. The Trafford centre is much bigger and has all the stores in one place. There is a food place called Mr Pretzel, which I get every time, and it’s the best! I always get the cinnamon flavoured pretzel and you should definitely try it!

Being in Manchester during the winter is great because of the Christmas markets! They are located all over Manchester and there are loads of food stalls and much more. If you have never experienced going to the markets they are worth a try, they are very memorable and I’m sure you’ll have a great time.

My last favourite place in Manchester is going to Salford Quays. I love going there during the summer, the view is SO lovely and there is a shopping centre with a food court where you can get all sorts of cuisines. Most of them are halal so that’s also a plus!

I hope you all enjoyed reading about my favourite places in Manchester and will love them as much as I do. Make sure you take loads of great pictures and make memories!
